Cable accessory evidence checklist for project buyers

How to connect a product code to the drawing, standard, test scope, entity and shipment record.

Request the record behind the claim

Review every certificate or test reference with the legal entity, issuing body, site, scope, voltage class, standard, issue date and expiry. A logo copied onto a sales page does not prove it applies to the product in your order.

  • Product code and specification revision
  • Cable interface and drawing revision
  • Applicable GB, IEC or project standard
  • Routine/type test method and report reference
  • Lot, packing and release status

Keep the evidence with the SKU

The buyer should be able to connect the accessory, materials, drawing, installation instructions and test results to the same SKU and revision. Project references inform questions; they do not replace current product evidence.
