Cold-shrink vs heat-shrink: choose by site and cable fit

A practical comparison of the two accessory routes before you request samples.

Cold-shrink route

Cold-shrink systems use a pre-expanded body and are often reviewed where installation speed, tooling and temperature conditions matter. Confirm the silicone body, stress-control geometry, sealing points and cable diameter range for the exact kit.

Heat-shrink route

Heat-shrink systems require a controlled heat installation method and compatible cable diameter range. Review torch requirements, screen treatment, sealing, flame considerations and site method together.
